Ellie’s Pet Artwork Portrait

Posted by

You might remember one of our Top Dog winners, Judith from Yorkshire, who won a custom canvas portrait of her West Highland terrier, Ellie, courtesy of our friends over at Pet Artwork. Judith has been in touch with us to share her fabulous portrait, and a little bit of a history about little Ellie.

Initially named Little Miss Shreddie, Ellie was born just before Christmas, on December 23rd.

After Judith’s rescue dog passed away, she was looking for a new companion and almost by fate, some friends at work mentioned that they were looking for someone to re-home their dog. They were working quite long hours and felt bad that they weren’t able to give their dog the attention that she needed. That little dog was Ellie, and as soon as she bought her home Judith said that she slotted right into place. Judith tells us “She is a happy little soul, follows me everywhere, loves her grub and playing chase.”

Judith has now become her mother’s carer, and apparently cheeky little Ellie is always keeping them both smiling, and is always on a mission to get a bit of Judith’s mum’s toast at breakfast time!

We’re so glad to hear that Judith and Ellie found each other at the right time in their lives and it seems like a perfect match.
