This leaves a high quality fibre source that contains both soluble and insoluble fibre. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400\">Soluble fibre provides a good food source for the beneficial bacteria living in your dog\u2019s digestive system and helps them to establish healthy populations in the large intestine. The soluble fibre also slows the digestion process, helping to maximise digestion and absorption of nutrients. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400\">The insoluble fibre in sugar beet is also beneficial as it improves the absorption of water in the lower part of the digestive system which can promote regular bowel movements helping to manage both constipation and diarrhoea.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400\">One further advantage of fibre sources like sugar beet is that they can help with weight loss.
