Digestibility takes into account how good the quality of the food is and how likely it is to suit your dog. However this will often vary on an individual basis as some dogs will have better digestion than others and different tolerances for ingredients.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400\">It\u2019s important that their diet is not 100% digestible as producing faeces is normal for dogs and their gut doesn\u2019t function well without some indigestible matter. This indigestible matter can also help with dogs that need to diet as it can mean there is more fibre there to slow down digestion and promote satiety and those with fibre responsive conditions for example constipation.
