Cue fluffy coats, scarves and the all-important pumpkin spiced latte. And this time we\u2019re getting our dogs involved, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from being the main ingredient in autumn\u2019s number-one drink, pumpkin is a superfood. Packed with nutrients and low in calories, it\u2019s the perfect seasonal treat for our dogs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pumpkin contains <strong>potassium<\/strong>, an electrolyte essential for muscle recovery after exercise. It\u2019s also full of immune-boosting vitamin C &#8211; and it\u2019s a great prebiotic, so good for digestive health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Recipe: Pup-kin spiced latte\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BndpFLVsTe4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Servings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3 &#8211; 4 lattes (depending on the size of your dog)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll need<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>4tbsp goat or coconut milk<\/li><li>120g pumpkin puree<\/li><li>A pinch of ground cinnamon<\/li><li>1tsp of coconut or goat milk yoghurt (optional)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Pop all your ingredients into a blender and mix for about a minute &#8211; or until nice and frothy<\/li><li>Pour some of the mix into a small cup or bowl<\/li><li>Top with coconut or goat milk yoghurt<\/li><li>Any leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This recipe went down a treat with resident recipe-tester Bear &#8211; and we think it looks pretty good, too.
