It\u2019s quick, it\u2019s easy, and it\u2019s sure to get tails wagging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First up: spinach. It\u2019s Popeye\u2019s favourite &#8211; and one of ours &#8211; so we\u2019ve made this superfood the star of the show. A great source of vitamins A, B, C, and K, spinach also contains minerals like calcium, iron and magnesium.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding some lean bacon to the mix means these biscuits feel like a real treat. Great for training (we call these types of treats \u2018high-value rewards\u2019 as dogs will work extra hard to get them!) and perfect for popping in the freezer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Spinach and bacon biscuits\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-9CquS4oUDo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Servings<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>8 &#8211; 10 biscuits<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What you\u2019ll need<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>50g cooked spinach (frozen is fine)<br>50g lean bacon, diced<br>135g rice flour (coconut or wholemeal flour also work well)<br>1 egg<br>Mixing bowl<br>Baking tray<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Method<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Get your oven preheated to 170\u00b0C\/gas mark 3<\/li><li>Add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix well<\/li><li>Line a baking tray with baking paper<\/li><li>With damp hands, roll the dough into balls and flatten into biscuit shapes<\/li><li>Place the biscuits onto the baking tray and bake for around 20 minutes<\/li><li>Once cool, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days, or in the freezer for up to 3 months<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>We always love seeing your baking creations, tag us on Instragram, twitter or Facebook using #tailsdotcom and share the love!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re keeping this recipe simple for a totally dog-friendly spin on the classic green eggs and ham.
