They are a great weekend treat, and &#8211; even better- they\u2019re made with super simple ingredients you probably already have in your cupboard: think rolled oats, peanut butter, bananas and a sprinkling of desiccated coconut. That\u2019s it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve said it before and we\u2019ll say it again: banana is one of our favourite dog-friendly ingredients. Full of potassium and rich in fibre, bananas are one of the best fruits to give your dog. Here, we\u2019re mashing \u00bd a banana with peanut butter, oats and a little water before rolling balls of the mixture in desiccated coconut. It\u2019s a year-round, protein-rich treat.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To top it off, these breakfast snowballs are just as tasty for humans as they are for dogs!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Recipe: Brekkie snowballs\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3sFXcbfhkbc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Servings<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>8 &#8211; 10 snowballs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What you\u2019ll need<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>150g rolled oats<br>2 tsp xylitol-free peanut butter<br>\u00bd a ripe banana<br>100g desiccated coconut<br>50ml water<br>Mixing bowl<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Method<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Mash the banana and mix it with the oats, water, and peanut butter in a mixing bowl<\/li><li>Use a little water to dampen your hands, then roll the mixture into small balls<\/li><li>Roll the balls in the desiccated coconut until well covered<\/li><li>Store in an airtight container in the fridge, or pop them in the freezer<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The snowballs make a great hot weather treat too &#8211; when they\u2019re frozen, they\u2019re a little bit like Mochi ice cream!
