One of the most important signs for a healthy dog is a healthy poo – and fibre is key. So how do you know how much fibre your dog needs? We\u2019ve got a few tips to help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does fibre do?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Fibre performs the same role in a dog\u2019s diet that it does in a human\u2019s diet: supporting healthy digestion. As well as keeping your dog’s poo regular, it contributes to good blood pressure and stable blood-sugar levels too. You can find good sources of fibre in foods like vegetables, wholegrain cereals, barley and more – and plenty of these foods are perfect for your dog\u2019s diet too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lots of dogs (especially puppies, as their digestive system is still maturing) can suffer from diarrhoea or sensitive digestion – a good level of fibre will support solid, healthy poos.
