They\u2019re packed with yummy pumpkin, peanut butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon &#8211; and they\u2019re a great make-ahead recipe to whip up on a Sunday, ready for the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-servings\">Servings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>8 &#8211; 12 balls (depending on the size of your dog)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-you-ll-need\">What you\u2019ll need<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bites<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>225g pumpkin puree<\/li><li>125g <a href=\"https:\/\/tails.com\/blog\/2021\/09\/28\/can-dogs-eat-peanut-butter\/\">xylitol-free peanut butter<\/a><\/li><li>250g oats<\/li><li>1 tsp cinnamon<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Decoration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cold-Pressed Duck Rewards (for the stem)&nbsp;<\/li><li>Superfood Bites (for the eyes)<\/li><li>Spinach leaves<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-method\">Method<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In a large bowl, mix together the oats, peanut butter, pumpkin puree and cinnamon until fully combined<\/li><li>Form the mixture into balls (smaller for little dogs, bigger for large dogs) and place them onto a parchment lined baking tray<\/li><li>Poke a hole in your spinach leaves and place on top of each pumpkin ball &#8211; use a tails.com Cold-Pressed Duck Reward to secure the leaf (and double as a stem)<\/li><li>Use two tails.com superfood bites for the eyes<\/li><li>Chill for at least an hour in the fridge, then move to an airtight container<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>These bites can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 10 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019d love to see your spooky creations &#8211; tag us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using #tailsdotcom<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re making the most of the spooky season with pumpkin recipes galore &#8211; perfect for using up any leftovers you have once you\u2019re done carving!
