And from classic dried fruit, to double chocolate and even Marmite, there seems to be something for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s why we\u2019ve developed this delicious dog-friendly hot cross bun recipe. Remember, <strong>raisins, currants and sultanas are all highly toxic for dogs<\/strong>, so keep them away from your stash and dish them up these dog-friendly buns instead. We\u2019ve used grated carrot and blueberries here for a fruity treat your dog will love!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This recipe does contain wheat flour, but if your dog doesn\u2019t tolerate wheat, or you prefer to use an alternative, oat, coconut and almond flour all make great substitutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Servings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Makes 12 buns at approximately 97kcals each<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you\u2019ll need<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>50g finely grated carrot&nbsp;<\/li><li>1 large egg<\/li><li>2tbsp coconut oil<\/li><li>50ml water<\/li><li>200g whole wheat flour<\/li><li>100g coconut or dairy-free yoghurt<\/li><li>50g blueberries<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Add your grated carrot and egg to a bowl and mix until well combined<\/li><li>Mix in the coconut oil and water, then add the flour and blueberries. Mix well<\/li><li>Grease a muffin tray with coconut oil and divide the batter between each hole, smoothing off the surface<\/li><li>Pipe the coconut yoghurt into a cross shape on each \u2018bun\u2019<\/li><li>Bake at 180\u00b0C&nbsp; for 25 minutes or until golden brown on top. Cool completely in the pan before serving<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>These yummy buns will keep for up to 5 days in an airtight container, or up to a month in the freezer.&nbsp;<br>If you make these, please share your pics with us!
