Another donation from the Community Fund!

Last year, we pledged to donate £25,000 to charities across the UK after seeing the impact Covid-19 was having on local communities. We wanted to do something about it, and since then we’ve given out grants to some incredible charities – including Refuge4Pets, Assistance Dogs Northern Ireland, and now All Creatures Great and Small is our very latest fund beneficiary, who are an animal sanctuary based in South Wales.

All Creatures Great and Small

This latest recipient of a grant from our Community Fund was founded in 1992 and it  operates a programme of rehabilitation and rehoming of injured, abused, unwanted, and orphaned animals.

Our very own Head Vet Sean went down to South Wales to meet the team behind the sanctuary – and to meet some of the dogs they care for. He (and all of us at tails.com) were so inspired by the dedication and care they give each and every animal at the sanctuary. The team’s dedication and hard work means thousands of animals over the years have been rescued and rehabilitated – some into new homes, and others have found their forever home at the sanctuary itself.

We’ve awarded a £3,000 grant to All Creatures Great and Small, which will go towards a new all-weather surface to be used as a training field for exercise and socialisation of the dogs at the sanctuary. Use of the current field they have is limited – and when the weather isn’t great, it can be a real challenge!

The new surface is going to mean the sanctuary can offer their services to more dogs. This will bring valuable income in for the charity, giving them the vital funds they need to continue their work.

After a successful year, we’ve donated over £37,000 to new and existing charity partners and worthy causes across the UK. We know how important it is to support our local communities, which is why we’ll be continuing to use the tails.com Community Fund to support even more charities next year.

  1. This has put a huge smile on my face.

Buster, who has enjoyed your wonderful food for almost 4 months, along with his sister Holly were both adopted from All Creatures Great and Small.

We know the amazing work ACGAS do for the animals that come into their care and know how much they deserve this award from you at Tails.

  2. We have been using Tails food to help with our dogs allergies and both of our dogs were adopted from All Creatures Great and Small so was really pleased to read that you have made this donation to a wonderful rescue centre with amazing staff.
