The latest on COVID-19 from tails.com

Update Weds 25th March

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement Monday, I wanted to reassure customers that we have taken all necessary steps to ensure that tails.com continues to deliver essential dog food supplies to our customers whilst also protecting the safety of our people and adhering to the new – vital – restrictions from the Government.

Original post 17th March:

Let’s keep our chins up and their tails wagging.

The team at tails.com are focused on feeding dogs up and down the country, and are here for you and your dog. So to reassure you, we’re very much open for business as usual and are still making and delivering tailored nutrition for all our customers’ dogs.

We’ve taken the steps needed to make sure your dogs don’t go with empty bellies and every order will continue to be delivered to your door on a monthly basis.

We’re up to date with any specific food advice and are sharing that the European Food Safety Authority has confirmed there’s no evidence that food is a likely source or a route of transmission of the virus. We’ve added some extra steps into our team’s routine as a precaution too.

We will keep this page up to date so you’ve got the latest information from us. If there’s anything major that changes your dog’s food supply, we’ll share that with you via email.

Need to knows

  • If you need to make any changes to your delivery date,  your address or give any specific instructions (e.g. contactless delivery), head to https://tails.com/gb/signin/

We’ll be keeping a close eye on the situation and what the government is saying, and will evolve our plans to stay as prepared as possible.

So why not come join us and the community over on our usual Facebook and Instagram pages where we’re posting some helpful info and tips on how to keep your dogs entertained while you’re staying in the house.

Stay healthy, and let’s look after each other out there.

With love and waggy tails from the whole team at tails.com,

Kat

  2. This is good news.

I was concerned at the beginning of the week but saw your update on your website that things were BAU and now you have confirmed this in the email and blog update.

I’ve tried to explain the position to our Yorkie, Dougle, but he just doesn’t seem to get it. But he does like tails.com food, both wet and dry, so all is well in his world. What more does he want?

    Thanks for keeping things running!

    • Hi Jeff,

We’re continuing to closely monitor the Covid-19 situation, but at this time it’s business as usual for us and we’re not intending to stop preparing and delivering Hewie’s food.

We’re speaking with our couriers constantly to monitor the situation and will let you know if anything changes.

If you are concerned about running out of food for Hewie, please get in touch with us on hello@tails.com or via Facebook Messenger – our team will be able to help.

      Kind regards,
      Laura

  3. Hello, Good to know my Zelda will get her food. Thank you.
Unfortunately my health no longer allows me to walk her as I used to (but fortunately we have a small garden.) I’d be at a loss without your deliveries. Very much appreciated

  5. I thought I would be getting my first order free of charge and paying just for post. When I signed in there was no where to put the code, I have payed the half price you wanted because I know my dog is over weight, I have been unable,le to excercise her properly as I am being Shielded, I will be able to do most of the things everyone else can on 1st August 2020.
