I’m sure our dog Jess will love it, but I want to try some of it too!
Unfortunately our dog Ellie is sick if she has anything frozen even cold milk from the fridge, so does she have a problem or is it just her metabolism.
We’re sorry to hear this, Chris. We always advise using dairy-free products in recipes for your pup (such as Coconut milk).
Great recipe. Looking forward to making these for my staffie dog. Thank you for sharing. X
I only give my dog manufactured dog food treats. How am I to know if the tinned coconut milk has any harmful proservatives?
Do you have a trusted link to helpful safe foods
Hi there, a small amount of unsweetened coconut milk is safe for your dog, but just like other treats these carrot ice creams should be fed in moderation. We don’t currently have a full list of everything dogs can eat as the list is quite extensive, but here’s a list of foods that can be harmful to dogs https://tails.com/blog/2018/05/01/food-harmful-to-dogs/
Interesting 😊 please explain why turmeric might be beneficial to dogs.?
Turmeric is a natural source of antioxidants and antioxidants have been shown to help boost immunity and reduce inflammation. Our tasty hand-baked Chicken Biscuits have turmeric as one of the main ingredients, why not let your pup give them a try!
Tried this today Beaty woofed one down for an afternoon treat great recipe thanks
I’d the carrot added raw or cooked?
Hi Louise, this can be added raw to help keep all those tasty nutrients in.
Best wishes,
